I want to tell you about our Earth. I want to say what people ruins and want they can lose.

Many people want to save the Earth, but they don`t know how to do it. They don`t know how to protect wild animals, plants, and how to keep water clean and air fresh. Water is very important in the life of people. There is a lot of water on our planet. It is in rivers, oceans, lakes and seas.

The closest and dearest person in everyone`s life is his or her mother. Mothers never forget about their child, all their thoughts are with him or her. Mother`s love is sincere and pure.

My mother is a very beautiful and a very independent woman. She never asks anyone for help, she understands you and supports you in hard situations.

Of course, everybody knows about positive influence of sport on people`s bodies and minds. Sport educates a strong will, discipline, ability to overcome difficulties. It helps to increase self-confidence and keep fit. It can even be a treatment: sometimes doctors prescribe going in for sport as a cure for people with certain diseases. The proverb of ancient Greeks says `If you want to be beautiful – you should run, if you want to healthy – you should run, if you want to be clever – you should run`, and it is still the truth. So if we take this part of the sport life, everything is brilliant and suitable for you and your health.

For thousands of years man dreamed of flying to the stars. At the beginning of the century the great Russian scientist Tsiolkovsky predicted that "mankind will not remain on Earth forever". Half a century later his words came true, the dream became a reality. It happened on October 4, 1957, when the 1st artificial satellite, the sputnik, was launched. The Russians were the 1st in the world to fly into outer space. Then the most remarkable event in the history of cosmonautics took place. On April 12, 1961 the spaceship "Vostok", piloted by Yuri Gagarin went up. He orbited the Earth only once, staying in space for 108 minutes. Mankind will always remember him. A new era of man`s exploration of outer space began. Many space rockets went up by our cosmonauts. Among them were Titov, Nikolaev, Leonov, Tereshkova, Savitskaya and others. Today Russia wants the exploration of space to be based on broad international cooperation. Many international crews went up in space. This is the best example of the possibility of peaceful cooperation.

One of my favorite American sitcoms is “South Park”. It is animated cartoon which is created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone. You can see South Park on MTV Russia. This sitcom can be seen by mature audiences, who are ready for its dark humor. The main heroes are Stan Marsh, Kyle Broflovski, Eric Cartman, and Kenny McCormick. They live in a small town which is situated in the Rocky Mountains of central Colorado. In fact, Stan is describes as a normal, American kid who has the best friend like Kyle. And Kyle is often laughed by the others. Eric is a racist who is obnoxious. But Kenny is the sweetest protagonist who covers most of his face and muffleshis speech.
